Fictional Music Album


This project was about redesigning the album artwork and creating a digital campaign for a music album. Aphex Twin was the chosen artist. At the beginning, I thought I had never heard of him, but then I realized I actually had. Working on this artist was really hard for me because it is not my style, and some of his videos made me feel uncomfortable. So I decided to use that feeling to create something.

I used my dog (something very personal and sweet to me) precisely because transforming his face into something unsettling feels ironic. It plays with the contrast between something innocent and something visually disturbing. The design was meant to feel strange, energetic, and slightly off, in a good way, similar to the visual tone often associated with his music.
